Sand cast in solid brass, it was designed especially for the Ace Hotel in Sydney. The casting process involves liquefying metal and pouring it into a sand mould. Because manufacturing occurs in small batches, slight variations will be visible from one hook to another. These production marks may include slight pour ripples or surface pitting.
