I made a pre-sunrise trip to La Jolla Cove

It did for a little and then the clouds quickly rolled into the western skies

Today I headed into San Francisco via BART and once arriving at the Montgomery Street Station I started to walk through tunnels

Earlier in the spring I was scouting the area around the airport and noticed an aircraft on final approach to Denver International Airport

I looked across the Gastineau Channel and noticed the low clouds on Douglas Island with the fresh snow from some rain which had fallen earlier in the day on the peaks

Planes on the Plains Size:16"x20" I made a pre-sunrise tripI headed out to the plains for some images just after sunset near the airport. My plan was to find a good location with a view of the mountains and then see what the approach pattern was for the evening. The area which I selected did not disappoint nor did the flow of traffic from multiple airlines at that time of night allowing for fine tuning of the process prior to the light disappearing, the flow of traffic slowing and the temperatures beginning
