The VT4 plate is useful for connecting truss bottom chords to top chords where the bottom chord hangs from the top chord (as in collar ties/tie beams)

A 1" tie rod assembly with turnbuckle includes two #3 clevises

These column caps are used when the main beam terminates with the intersecting beam and have to be ordered either in left hand or right hand orientation. See the picture for details.
