As the glaciers have retreated it exposes the texture and detail of the rock which varies across different eras of time

A spring storm dropped some snow along the Front Range of Colorado

and upon leaving Gastineau Channel it was quite foggy

As I photographed from here you can see some of the design elements noticeable in front blended more so with the building itself

I was able to walk around the exterior to photograph some of the architecture of the building

Honeycomb in Lincoln Park Presentation:Matted As the glaciers have retreatedDuring a visit to Chicago I headed north to the Lincoln Park area. Within the park is a pavilion which is called the Honeycomb. On this spring day I spent easily 30 minutes photographing the piece and the abstraction photographs which could be captured. This is more so a straight on look at the piece and the details of the wood which creates the pavilion letting the lines and patterns give a sense of the pavilion itself.
