It felt like we were both doing exactly the same thing in different ways

These particular foxgloves were a five minute walk from my studio

which transports the viewer to a dappled grove of nodding bluebells

less than a mile from England's north-east coast

Home Sweet Home- Puffin Pair Archaeology in September 2023It's one of my favourite summertime treats to go and see the puffins on Northumberland's Farne Islands. I never tire of watching these colouful little birds going about their daily business of fishing and flying back to their burrows with beaks full of sand eels. They have to work so hard to find and catch their food, and once back to the islands, they have to avoid being "mugged" by gulls who try to steal their catches. So it's lovely to see them
