I spent a couple of afternoons photographing in this area

This area was once home to the Lowry Air Force Base and over the past fifteen years it has been redeveloped into a new neighborhood

The water would come up to and past the rock and then recede back to the ocean

Once I found the location again I searched nearby for better areas and set-up my tripod be aware of small cactus in the area as well

On this day it was a little less crowded which allowed me to get closer and spend more time at the sculpture

Abstract Flower Building I spent a couple ofThere is something to be said about the magnitude of the Butchart Gardens in Victoria, Canada. A few years ago I visited the gardens and it is one of those places you can spend all day with your camera. After a while I focused my efforts on using a macro lens in the rose gardens and looking for interesting elements in the flowers themselves which is the above image.
