These agates are rare and many of them when cut do not have agates or geodes within them. This one has a nice a nice quartz geode center with agate banding around the outside edge. These thunder egg agates formed within nodules of rhyolite. These pieces measure a bit under an inch tall and around a half inch deep ea. I have a bin of these but I don't cut them often
