A Foot in Cold Water, watercolour on panel, 18 x 24" (SOLD) Islands I painted this American Painted"My camping trips to Lake Superior continue to inspire new work. This scene is inspired by underwater stones at Rainbow Falls Provincial Park on the north shore. I added the shoe at the bottom to bring a human presence into the scene and to give it a sense of scale. The title refers to the legendary chilly waters of Lake Superior, and is similar to A Foot in Coldwater, the name of a Canadian rock band from the 1970's." Click here to see the creation
