I have captured sunrise over Denver from Sloans Lake many times

It was an overcast day but this allowed for the low clouds to set the scene as I looked towards Po Lin Monastery

I noticed some nice light on the city just before sunset

When visiting Napa in the fall of 2008 besides the traditional photographs of wine country

With the sun starting to set late in the evening the clouds provides and interesting backdrop for the plane

Pine Cone in the Snow Holiday Cards:Package of 50 Holiday Cards I have captured sunrise overAs some snow fell in the city I took advantage of this and headed to the foothills to photograph. I soon came across a tree with many pine cones where I spent some time taking pictures. With the fresh snow in the tree and a small blanket of snow as a background this was one of my favorites from the images I took. The folded card is 5"x7" and the inside of the holiday card has the greeting: Happy Holidays and Best Wishes for the New Year
