Stairwell Colour:N/A Crutching Shed in the WetThe concrete stairwell rises through Female Ward 9 & 10 of the Kirkbride Complex, light falling from high windows onto cracked plaster and layers of peeling paint. The Kirkbride Complex was designed by Colonial Architect James Barnet and Inspector General of the Insane Frederic Norton Manning, with construction completed in 1885. Part of the Callan Park series.
