This piece is made in the elegant Douvaine pattern, which began production in 1890. This pattern features a design of a North Wind type face and a classical dolphin or fish on the handle, surrounded by flowing, sinuous decoration in the Art Nouveau style of the time to which the pattern dates. The fork has a wide body with seven short tines and openwork decoration above. The
